Yes , that can be done , but relies on a constant cpu 'load' , not sure as to how much jitter there could be using that method . seems the documentation is a bit thin , if you want to go out side the usual ..

Hi Graham,

This is probably too simplistic, but you can toggle the output with
a sleep(t) between to make a square f=1/(2t).
