Contrary to previous posts ... WG2XRS/2 is not operational on 73 kHz. Dex WG2XRS/5 has been running daytime tests today using WG2XRS as the call sign.

Ok Bob, will try opds-16 then. It's all set up already, and has worked for us before. I will again observe a 7 Hz wide slot from 74318.5 to 74325.5 Hz (see bottom of http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26404526/opds.htm ).

Great to have a chance with Jay and others! My search list currently contains

WG1XRS fn42hi
WG2XRS fn31ls
WG3XRS fn42ch
WG4XRS fn12lq
WG5XRS em95tg
73 and good luck,
Markus (DF6NM)

Markus;
I think Jay is finally on.  There are a group of them on right now with Jay, John and Dexter.  I was planning on trying the OP16.  If signals are as good as usual nights lately should work well.  However, if you think the 64 is going to be needed I will run OP64.  You also may not have OPDS at 16 speed? Bob

Bob,

yes, sure - same freq then where you were in QRSS last night. My antenna is still in low position so SNR may not be as good as it could be.

What speed do you want to run, 16 or 64? I guess 64 would be preferable due to lower SNR threshold.

Will other XRS stations be coming on too?

Best 73,
Markus (DF6NM)
