Yes Andy - tall tale times - have listened on 136 from a Soviet Mil-8 helicopter up in sveryna Zemyla ( using wire dangling) and from a Mil 12 (i think!) on a run from North of Moscow to Sredniy, Norilsk and Vorkuta in 2000 - am/ssb only :-)
i didnt hear anyone (was hoping to gear a GM) but did pick up a USA ndb - I'm scratching my white haired scalp to think which one it was but I think it was near BBC radio 4 on 198
Laurence to nite in VE6

Nice to see some op8 decodes last night here in Alaska from ve7bdq - it's been a while. No qrss op32 or wspr 2/15 on 137, but a few weak xsh/20 wspr2's on 474 for a short while. Nothing on 74 - visual Aurora on way into airport this mng.
