Hi Dave & all who left comments & observations.

I am also still seeing the 473.800kHz carrier but not too strong & no signs of the BIA carrier.
This morning I could not even detect the 473.8 carrier but has since shown up very weak & slow QSB to below noise.
Since 1430utc it has started to show continuously gaining strength as time progresses.

What puzzled me was the sudden apparent QSY from the BIA carrier frequency as seen on the capture.

And later a carrier came slowly into view on 474.000kHz.

I was also wondering if it could be an effect of the Auroral event yesterday ?

Hi, Gary, Tobias, All,

The carrier is still weakly audible here also (15-00 utc). It's about 12dB
above the noise, using my SPM-30 on the 24Hz bandwidth setting.

The signal is very steady, which probably means I'm seeing just the
groundwave component.
I think it gets a lot stronger after dusk. At the moment, it's about -103
dBm.

Hi Gary, Stefan !

The carrier at 473.806 is 30dB above noise here at (local) noon. Very
steady signal. BIA carrier 474.0 is barely visible, 5dB or less above
noise. Keying of BIA is not visible.

(WSPR : G0HNW at -19dB, no QSB)

Hi Gary,

Same on my grabber. It is 10 dB stronger than BIA here, i.e. it is not
BIA but another signal. BIA and its 2 sidebands is still on 474 kHz.

Hi Gary.
I'm hearing the new carrier on 473.8 also. It doesn't seem to be
modulated. It's quite strong, but has some slow QSB, which would
indicate that is some distance away from my location.

    Hi All,

NDB "BIA" seems to be much stronger than usual, also it seems to
    have QSY'd down a little to 473.800kHz.
But in saying that it looks like it may be another carrier as I am
seeing the BIA carrier also strong on its usual frequency
474.000kHz.
    See this capture :-

You should be able to move backwards & forwards within the series
    of captures.
