Markus and Henny;
Thanks for all the good info.  Will work on getting the right freq for best results.  Just have to play with the Dial freq and everyone should be able to do that. Later-Bob

Henny,

thanks for this good capture, showing Bob's signal squeezed in between the QRM lines. It's a bit more difficult than Opera because WSPR-15 requires about 0.73 Hz clear bandwidth. We should also note that the "nominal WSPR frequency" seems to be not the center but the lowest of the four tones.

Unfortunately I didn't get any decodes here. This is not really surprising, looking at the DCF77 noise patterns on my WSPR-X screen http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26404526/wsprx_74614Hz_131213_0034.png
which hardly changed during the course of the night.

Probably my best bet would be to ask Bob to go to 74603.6 Hz. Then the tones would sit in a DCF minimum, and also be well above the nearest Loran line (74603.2804 Hz from Sylt), thus should be pretty clear everywhere in Holland, the UK, and Germany:

Best wishes,
Markus (DF6NM)
