Hi Laura,

The captures are from today, 12/11/2013.
The time is shown on my capture as utc between 1000 & 1200utc.

My location is England IO83qo & Henny's is Netherlands JO22md.
Quite a long way apart to be a locally generated signal.

I note that Henny's time stamp is 1 hour different, probably using local time.

Hi Gary,

Nothing from Sheffield (!) and Budapest at that time.
Please, could you specify locations and time zones of those
captures (utc, CET or else)?

Indeed such strong signals happend occasionally down there.
It's common sense that these "superpulses" are of local origin
from induction cookers observed around local noon and early
evening only. But who knows - correlation is not causality at all.

Can anyone explain this wideband signal around 19.800kHz captured by
Henny (PA3CPM) & myself
