Ok Bob

All  the  Opera    qrg's   are   set  as   'Dial   set  USB'

The  speed  change   , changes the  mid audio  pass  band  of the  decoder  , but the  RX [ and TX ]   Dial  set  remains  the  same

In  this  case  , If  Markus  is  trying  to  detect  your  signal  with  correlation , it  may  be  better  to  use  the  exciter  in CW mode  and  pick a   qrg   inside the  Op65  pass  band  ...that means   any  other  station , simply  sets  73 K usb  op65  .....  using  audio  drive  the  system  places  the  carrier  in the  lowest    s/n  'slot'   and  checks  at  each   tx-rx-tx  change  over  , not  a problem  for the   Op decoder  that  can  track  round   32 signals  in the  pass  band  ,  is not  ideal  for  correlation  !

Markus;
I am following Graham's [G0NBD] instruction to move higher.  He said set upper sideband exciter to 73.000 and should be on 74.44-5 am not sure if actual transmit freq is 74.4 or if tone is 1500 hz so would put me at 74.5.  Have to get confirm of this from G.
Graham you read this e mail?  Where should receiver be set for receive window? Bob

Hi Bob,

I'd be interested to set something up to catch Op-65 on 73 kHz. But I need to know your actual RF frequency (not dial) - presumably not the same 72.401 kHz as for QRSS?

Not sure whether pseudorandom noise sidebands from the time-signal station DCF77 will be a problem here.

Best 73,
Markus (DF6NM in JN59NJ)

Recovered from the  psk-map

Substantial signal levels ! Op65 ~ -43 dB s/n , , thats +13 and 18 dB over the limit , range about 220 miles ? 20 watts would do !
