Yes. As the French storm cells slowly approached Heidelberg this morning, the path difference between groundwave and skywave gradually increased, producing a downward shift of the spectral bands. According to Fig 4 on http://df6nm.bplaced.net/VLF/2006/vlf_DHO_dualfreq.htm, ground distances of 220 to 150 km would approximately correspond to a first maximum at 6 to 4.5 kHz, at least coarsely matching Stefan's screenshot. Closer in, the contrast of the banding will become less because of the level difference - the groundwave will become even stronger whereas the skywave will be attenuated by the vertical E-field antenna diagram.
