Yes ,   good  idea  , like the  idea  about the  mountain !
 
for  live  tuning , you  could  use  any of the  speeds  , all  are   average   s/n   over the  time  line

Hi Graham.
Is a new set up on my 2nd QTH to check my main antenna.
The set up is:
FT857 with a horizontal quad loop 230m  overall lenght at about 5Km far away from my main QTH, behind a mountain.
