Just as a  quick   check as to the  CPU over heads 
 
Running    8   sessions  of  Opera  , with  water  fall  at the  same time  , with   win-xp-pro-32 bit
 
CPU loading  showing   3 %
 
Is   3%    indicative of  heavy  CPU usage ?
 
May be  not :- ))
