GE Chris,

I heared you calling CQ for a short time on 473.3 kHz, this evening. Was that you? I was calling CQ on 472.5 kHz a few seconds before i heared you. I thought that no one relies to my call so i prepared to answer your call. But suddenly DF5QG answered to my call, with some delay. So i went back to 472.5 and had a QSO with DF5QG. During the QSO i saw your signal on 473.3, which was quite strong at times, no problom for a QSO and just a little QSB. I interrupted the QSO with DF5QG then, to answer your several calls, before you go QTH. But just a few seconds before i called you, the call stopped and there was a short dot with a signal level falling from 100% to 0 in a short time (like a PA does when the power supply, not the driver, is switched OFF).

Was that you? If so, we missed each other by just a few seconds. Pity but somehow funny. Attached you find a screenshot of my local monitor, showing the end of the QSO on 472.5, the last call on 473.3 and the final dot on 473.5...

73, Stefan/DK7FC
