Hi Peter and all,
if you want to know whether the TX is on the air pse click to
http://abelian.org/vlf/sg8270.php
or
http://www.ok2bvg.cz/vlfgrabber/
if you are interested in some scientifically measurements taken by Paul Nicholson pse have a look at
http://dj8wx-dl.de/VFL/dj8wx-130402a.gif
http://dj8wx-dl.de/VFL/dj8wx-130402b.gif
http://dj8wx-dl.de/VFL/dj8wx-130402c.gif
http://dj8wx-dl.de/VFL/dj8wx-130402d.gif
in b.gif and d.gif you notice the extreme change in phase.
It is the moment I took the ant slope abt 1.50m up and thereupon had to add some coil L.

Oops, seems that loss in signel between 07 and 13 was
only visible at my grabber.
I took a look at my frequency lock source (22k1) and
that one went QRT this morning for a few hours.
I use now ICV at 20k270 as Sync freq
source.
Let see what happens...
Peter.

Hello Uwe,
Well, I think U did see the spectogram's here at
PA1SDB already.
All the same signal levels and stabillity, exept other
frequency.
Conditions are here still the same.
I see still some dots at a straight line between 07
UTC and (now) 13 UTC, but less signal level or just coincidence of noise
pixels.....
"IF" you are still on the air between 07 and 13 H
today, I think the XYL took here 100 meters clothesline back
:-)
73's, Peter,

Hi Laurence, Peter, Lubos and
Gary,
thanks for the 8270Hz grabbers. Seems the QRG is not
occupied.
meanwhile I have got a coil former: a 80cm diameter PVC
water bin.
my XYL will miss it when the WX
is getting hot and the plants need water.
unfortunately the wire source, my friend, is on vacation.

Hello Uwe, LF!
OK, my grabber is ready (the window nr 4). I am looking forward to
see your good signal.

LF: VLF 8270Hz
Hi
all,
the 8970.001Hz TX
has been switched off today.
I will
try txing on 8270Hz and am collecting coil former and wire (litze >
1,5mm/d)
from now on.
Is the
QRG 8270Hz OK? Or is it occupied?
