I was very surprised that you could hear me! Thanks for the contact, I think it is the first Germany to Scotland on 472, I don't know of any other GM stations active.

OK on the 2m contacts to this part of the world, yes it is good to get up on those South-facing hills in Galloway! I can operate on 2m from here but conditions are poor at present (oops... I mentioned 2m on the LF reflector!).
