Thats  15 watts  to the  40 ft  vert  using Opera 2  on 40 mtrs  , 3 dB  over  limit , so  could  of used  7w

Advantage ,,  qrssss   you  need   very  stable  equipment  each end  - for  this  you  only  need  something  normal .. and no  transverter . just  cw  keying 

but  'Why open the  door  , when its  more  fun to  dig a  tunnel'

I am sure you are correct, the same for QRSS so what is the advantage ?? plus the complications of a transverter.
