Spiros SV8CS and myself just had our first LF QSO. It was a difficult start, due to deep and long QSB and very active thunderstorms over the Ionian sea. After seeing just nothing in the first attempt, we decided to slow down to qrss / dfcw 60. Fortunately around 21:35 propagation suddenly picked up, and we could complete the contact with a comfortable 25 dB SNR.

Thank you very much Spiros for this nice contact, and your patience while mastering adverse conditions.

Best 73,
Markus (DF6NM)

PS Mal, never say again that no one can be bothered to conduct an LF QSO any more ;-)
