Thread-topic: earth antenna test
Hello Dimitris,

very interesting, in particular the comparison between the terminated and
unterminated wires.
The fact that an unterminated wire works brings up another experiment: how
would a dipole placed on the ground perform?
On 475kHz a half wave length would be 316m (2x158m), the physical length
probably 300m or less.

Onderwerp: LF: earth antenna test

Hello group,

here is a quick test I did on 475 kHz, using some wires laying on the
ground. I was really impressed by the signal strength but capturing
the signal from my AA-30 antenna analyser surely takes the cake :-)

Happy to hear your comments on this test.
