Hi Stefan,

Using the 100m wire at the moment. It was snagged in the treetops
by a fierce winter storm that took out the mains power for almost
a day. The wire now free from the trees and we have the power back.
Excellent LF/MF RX condx were very much enjoyed whilst the mains were out!

The TX is running about 50 watts. I fired the poor thing a few days
ago. It seems RF got into the 4027 divider. Having little luck
scrounging a new chip, I had to rewire it for a 4020 which seems OK
at the moment.

Hi Joe,

Are you using the known antenna? What is the TX pwr?, if this is a valid question :-)

Dear Group,

It seems it will be some time before Canadian amateurs will have
access to 472-479 kHz. In the mean time, VX9MRC is now QRV with
10 WPM CW and a 10 second carrier on 504.1 kHz. Reports
will be greatly appreciated!

Last night, WD2XSH/7 on 476 kHz was quite readable here, across
the continent, but nothing was heard across the pond.
