the only explication is failure of cap(s)....which I have to replace 
with other hugher units...

How can you have a DC component on the primary winding? Is the 
resistance of that winding so high (don't think so) or was that DC 
current extremely high while measuring a few mV DC?

Where can we find the schematic of the PA? :-)
