A question to Joe K1JT:

For 472 kHz I don't have a linear SSB mixer, but I can still send WSPR from a programmable FE-5680A Rubidium oscillator. The RS-232 control strings are derived from a list of tones, which has been generated by a command like
wspr.exe tx 0 0.0015 0 DF6NM JN59 27 11 >tones.txt

Is it possible to similarly produce a list of the 85 JT9 tones (ie. number 0 to 8) from a given message text?

Best 73,
Markus (DF6NM)
