Any wider and may  need  to  ask  'Is the  band in use' ?

 

501>504 was  not  a  problem , was  obviously  a  form  of  experimental chirp modulation  : )) , but  in the  new ''shuffling  madness''  that's  about to be  unleashed   as of  00:00z 1/1/2013  , it  may  not  be as appropriate , vintage or  otherwise ,

 

In its  normal  use the  tx  would  A2H  or what  ever  the  new numbers are  for  MCW  [ full carrier 2 sidebands]  tx  so  carrier  stability would  not  of  been  a  big problem , this  is a  LC  switch position  on the  tx  set to 500k , for  when 90% of the  Tx had  failed  ,   coil and  cap  in a  xtal  oscillator !  there is the  same  TX at  gb4fpr  , runs   qty-3  807  in parallel  , variometer from anodes to  Ae  , with  switched  cap's  to  ground  .. good  signals  on 500/1000/1500 !
