Graham,
yes it's certainly a good option to let SpecLab do
the audio conversion, and feed Opera or WSPR etc. through a
virtual audio cable (VAC). Within SpecLab you can either employ a digital
NCO and mixer, or use the frequency shifting option in the FFT filter
block. The latter is quite flexible: you may shift only a part of frequency
range, allowing you to stitch together subbands originating from different
parts of the spectrum, to the end of processing both in a
single Opera instance (eg. 10 Hz around Joe's 137.777 beside 90
Hz around the usual 137.545).

Ok Markus
Well 'we' can set up monitors , did
that for Joe on 136 (500 ? ) , a while back ,
but most of the stations are not manned ,
and with the time window , really need to post
the day before , difficult to monitor
8/32 on the same qrg as well , need
2 bfo's or do something clever with spec lab
to produce the second carrier qrg ?
Did Stefan decode via spec lab for some
time , changing the audio frequency ?
if the delay was constant , it should not be
a problem for ros/opera modes ?

Mal was on 136172.84 Hz, sending one round of
Op8 from 15:26 to 15:34. He then started Op32 at 15:38, which was
apparently aborted at 15:50.

Which speed Mal ?? ,
Most monitors will be un-manned , if you
can Tx in band , assured of wide
monitoring network
Let me know , what the times
will be and will post for monitors on
group
