Good activity on 502 kHz +/- 300 Hz this afternoon - sounded almost like the begin of a farewell party for the 600 meter band.
Heard (at DF0WD): G3XIZ 579, EI0CF 569, GW3UEP 559, M0JXM 549, and G0NBD 539.
Tried -in vain- to attract anyone's attention by calling on 472.5 kHz. Back at home now; hope Chris DF5QG has more luck later this evening...
