Hello Spiros,

I think i cannot receive on 80m but at least i have installed a wideband active E field antenna some weeks ago. It cuts of at relatively low frequencies but maybe 80m is still possible. I have an Elecraft K2 here which is able to receive there. Let me try..

I'll be back on 630m very soon and i'll have a look to 479 kHz. You or SV1AYC can also have a look to http://www.iup.uni-heidelberg.de/schaefer_vlf/DK7FC_MF_Grabber.html

Exciting to hear that you can hear BIA at 17 UTC. That sounds all very promising for a real QSO band! And the number of QSO active stations is impressing! Looking forward to listen to the noise later in the evening :-)

Interesting!

Costas, is SV1AYC QRV this night again? I would give it a try on MF! I
guess i could be audible in SV, or is his signal EXTREMELY QRO, ERP wise?

SV1AYC started transmitting a CW beacon today on 479 kHz. He
is located in a northern suburban of Athens.
