You are right in your understanding that the existing allocation
in the 500 kHz is being withdrawn, as a result of WRC12, and a new allocation
has been
agreed under Agenda Item WRC 12 AI.23 giving access to 472-479 kHz.
We are unable to comment on the rumours that have been speculated outside of Ofcom as it is still our intention to make this Notice of Variation available
from 1st January 2013.
