Ok Markus
Seems better signals earlier in the night
over this path ?
The rf bands are listed in the
windows software , under the Frequencies tab
, the two bands are a result of
separating the mode speeds with
dedicated dsp , this reduces the cpu
load and minimises the false decode's [
Tokyo seems to be the worst qth
for this ?] early versions where dual
mode / auto detect , but cpu loading was [
for some ] an issue
For LF OP32 + OP8 MF
OP4 and OP8 are available by selection
[others can be used , but require tx/rx alignment
] to data OP8 remains for the most,
un-tested on 500
Note OP8 pass band is 100Hz OP4
200Hz , operation mid band for fixed
qrg stations is optimal , spacing app
3 Hz is required
Rf carrier for OP4 and OP8 on
477 are :-
478-5 > 478-6 and 478-6 >
478-8
Rf carrier for OP4 and OP8
on 500 are :-
501-5 > 501-6 and 501-6 > 501-8

Thanks Graham, happy to see the
decode.
Yes pskreporter has still expatriated me
from Nuernberg to middle England (wondering if that would be for the better or
worse ;-)) According to a wspr spot the other day it's more like 1272
km

DF6NM 0.475631 -5 0
JN59nj 1 SV2DCD KN00pl
1272 137
I was on 478.670 kHz at the time but 'm
still not quite clear about the (RF) frequency bands which are being
monitored for different Opera speeds. On LF, I gather it's 137.5-137.6 for Op32
and 135.6-137.7 for Op8, but where would the faster modes 4 and
2 go? And which are the respective slots on MF 478.xx
kHz?
Best 73, and a nice weekend to all,
Markus (DF6NM, JN59NJ)
