I would still also change the TX LPF that is switched into use when
the rig is on 475kHz with the usual 6800pF/15uH components used in
many designs. T94-2 or T106-2 cores should be fine for the coils at
that power level. After that I would also make sure the output
transformer does not run too hot at the intended max. output power
level.
This mod suggestion came just in time, I think we have a contender to
apply it on. Will report how it turned out in case we get a go at it.
