LF,

There's some progress on the AM modulator stage here. Now the step down converter works in general, i just have to optimise the PID parameters, i.e. regulator performance. Main parts of the stage are an IRFP460A, IR2113, TL494, IXDD414CI.

The inductor is using a single turn on an Epcos B64290L699X830 ferrite core with an Al of 10.8uH.

Hopefully i can soon run slow hell transmissions in the LF QRSS-60 EU slot without generating sidebands...

An add-on to my LF PA. Guess what it is?! :-)

Hi Stefan,

I'd guess it is the power section of a PWM AM modulator for one of your
switching QRO amplifiers?
