Laurence,

looked at the microHz window in excitement this morning, but nothing received yet, also not on Chris' grabber in Bucharest.

But October may still be a bit early in the year. Reviewing 100 kHz Loran data from late 2009 when Port Clarence was still active showed relatively weak traces, peaking around 4 to 5 UT.
From mid November on, we were getting solid signals on a regular basis, and 24 hour reception on many days during midwinter. The steady trace colour over hours shows that phase stability over the pole should be good enough for microHertz work - actually better than many more southerly pathways which exhibit a mixture of multiple modes.

Thanks for trying, I'm sure we will succeed!

Best 73,
Markus (DF6NM)
