Thread-topic: [rsgb_lf_group] JT9-2 test by OR7T

Hello Michael,

thank you for the report.

The JT9 setup is very experimental:  a homebrew 4500kHz to 500kHz downconverter (SBL1) followed by a Kalmus-100 wideband power amplifier and a 550kHz LPF. The PA can deliver 10W, but the downconvertor has only drive power for 4W. A 6dB att. between downconvertor and PA = 1 W.

Now I have to figure out a problem in the RX to TX sequence: my TS440 will not transmit below 1.5MHz, so when listening on 500kHz the PTT (or VOX) does not work. I have to switch from VFO-A (500kHz) to VFO-B (4500kHz) by hand before I can transmit.

73, Rik  ON7YD - OR7T

Hello Rik,

That's what I got right now:

2148 10 -13 0.4 1454.41 0.00 OR7T 5MW ERP
2150 3 -26 -0.4 1482.59 0.00
2152 4 -25 0.3 1453.76 0.00 OR7T 5MW ERP
