Hi Eddie, LF,

I'm transmitting JT9-30 since 15 UTC, see http://www.iup.uni-heidelberg.de/schaefer_vlf/DK7FC_LF_DX_Grabber.html

Like yesterday i'm running my receiver down in the office on the Win7 PC. However there are no decodes so far after 4 rounds. In the next round i want to shorten the antenna wire so the signal is some 20 dB lower. Maybe it has actually something to do with to strong signal levels.

Non de-code checks done here today on JT9-2, it looks to me that your TX / RX need to be stable over the 2min period to less than +- 0.78Hz, pretty critical for rigs.
Maybe this is an issue, yes. The stability of my signal is that of the soundcard, which should be much better than 0.78 Hz in 30 minutes. However the receivers end must be taken in account as well, of course. If people are using a HF TRX, the overall drift may become critical. Maybe Joe can comment on that.

I'm going to transmit a last JT9-30 round for today, starting 19...19:30 UTC, 137.44 kHz.

73, Stefan/DK7FC
