had assume the sea path would be many dB better ?
From the SNR you don't get any informations about the local QRN
situation. It may have been very quiet on the path to UA0 and there
may have been many thunderstorms close to W1. W1 is much closer to
the equator so it is more likely that Jay has to fight with some
lightnings on that path...
