Members of the DARC group Mainz/Germany will be operating the 600m band during the coming weekend! They will be startingSaturday, Sept. 8th at 17:00 UTC, staying on the air
until next morning, Sunday 09th around 06:00 UTC. They will try different antenna types in connection with a TX 500 transmitter. CQ calls will be on 472,500 kHz listening simplex and also
QSX between 501 and 503 kHz. When in QSO, they will change the TX frequency up or down a little to keep this frequency clear.
While not in QSO they will run a beacon on 475,500 kHz. Reception reports are welcome via email [email protected].
In parallel they will also have a station running on 160m CW.
They are looking forward to work some of the active 600m stations and also receive many reception reports.
