Hi Stefan,

>Nice dipole, although a bit short for MF :-)

Actually it's - including the feeder - too long (422kHz resonance) ! :-)
The height agl is unfortunately only 8m.

See vna screenshot 'matched mw dipole'.
The (unbalanced) matching is accomplished by 1,5nF (silver mica)
and balancing is done by a 30dB common mode choke.
The transmission results are according to my output power which is presently
2,7W from an IC-706MK2G.
Good groundwave copy, also at daytime, within a radius of ca. 150km.
At nighttime Edgar,DL2HRE and Geri could here "someone calling" when I answered
to their cq calls, but I was just too week for a copy.
So I know what I have to do next. :-)

Hi Clemens,

I've updated the subject of these email ;-)

Nice dipole, although a bit short for MF :-) Anyway, interesting!!! What is the feed point impedance and what are the results of your transmissions? What is the height above ground?
Will i hear you tonite? I'll be on the band at 21 UTC.
