Hi Stefan,
>Nice dipole, although a bit short for MF :-)
Actually it's - including the feeder - too long
(422kHz resonance) ! :-)
The height agl is unfortunately only
8m.
>What is the
feed point impedance and what are the results of your transmissions?
See vna screenshot 'matched mw
dipole'.
The (unbalanced) matching is accomplished
by 1,5nF (silver mica)
and balancing is done by a 30dB common mode
choke.
The transmission results are according to my output
power which is presently
2,7W from an IC-706MK2G.
Good groundwave copy, also at daytime, within
a radius of ca. 150km.
At nighttime Edgar,DL2HRE and Geri could here "someone calling" when I
answered
to their cq calls, but I was just too week for a copy.
So I know what I have to do next. :-)

Hi Clemens,
I've updated
the subject of these email ;-)
Nice dipole, although a bit short for MF
:-) Anyway, interesting!!! What is the feed point impedance and what are the
results of your transmissions? What is the height above ground?
Will i hear
you tonite? I'll be on the band at 21 UTC.
