Hello Uwe,

Thanks also for the QSO, ant no problem about your 'second operator' ;o)

The very deep QSB was interesting : At the beginning of the QSO, the signal was so weak that I thought I had actually heard 'the other WX' (DK3) but a minute later your signal returned to the usual strength.

It's a pity none of the OH stations which were around at the time called on the announced crossband frequency. Or the conditions on 80 meters were so poor that I couldn't hear them (even through there was an SM4 station calling "CQ DX" around 3505, with 599+++ here, so the propagation cannot have been that bad. Also, QRN was very low on Friday night.

BTW Stefan, DK7FC, was unbelievably strong here again. He beat *all* NDB carriers(!)  - also those just outside the MF 'ham' bands- by at least 6 dB during most of the evening / night. If anyone is interested, I have a screenshot taken yesterday evening with an SDR-IQ receiver, covering the entire band plus a little more.

Will be interesting to listen in again this evening, when the ham radio club of Mainz are active on MF.

Have a nice weekend,
 Wolf DL4YHF / DF0WD on MF .
