Mike ?
Thank's Vernon
Well , I'm sure your 'only' 700
ft wire would do just fine !
Stefan has managed a few decodes into
the USA using Opera 32 and the
last using Opera 8 on 136 , most are
surprised that decodes are being made this
time of the year , Jay also crossed the other
way with 1 watt erp on 136
As long as the PC is reasonable , you can
run 2 sessions of Opera one
set Op8 the other Op32 from the same
sound card , with the Rx set 136.000 dial
usb
But at the moment OP32 seems to be the
choice ., giving decodes to approx -40 dB
s/n , I would think there will be
activity over the w/e , if you can set
up Rx + Op decode on 136.000 im sure you
will have some customers from either
side of the pond !

Hi Graham and all..
I can have a listen over the W/E if someone wants to try for a TA...it's
still very early for me in that I am still in summer mode here and doing
absolutly nothing with radio
I leave all that
for the better late fall and winter conditions.
The only antenna I have up now is a 700' or so longwire elevated on
average about 30'....it works very well...everything else is packed away for
the summer.
So let me know....
