Hello Mike, LF
The grabber is running now. We have WLAN on the camping yard :-) I'm
running the ferrite antenna and netbook INSIDE my car! It's quite stormy
and i want to stay with the others arround the fire for some time.
However the RX is running and i hope the upload will be stable.
I just stopped the beacon so my noiseblanker can work properly.
Try if you can make a signal coming through at
http://www.iup.uni-heidelberg.de/schaefer_vlf/DK7FC_LF_Grabber4.html
Jpg upload via dropbox out of the car ;-)
Tomorrow when the QRN is low we may try a QSO. The K9AY antenna i tried is not
suitable but maybe i can find the preamp somewhere in all the radio stuff i'm
carrying arround here all the time ;-)

Stefan,
I can offer a sked, but what sort of transmission do you want?
Your CW sigs are very good again today with less static - see the
picture on my new activity blog: http://g3xdv.blog.com
The picture shows DCF39 only a little stronger than you - this is
rubbish of course, as that station was leaking round my CW filter.

Our radio club is on a fieldday again. I will take the chance and
experiment with directional K9AY antennas for LF. Different sizes and
shapes will be tested. The locator will be JN49FV26GJ
(http://no.nonsense.ee/qthmap/?qth=JN49FV26GJ). If someone of the
others offers a WLAN i can run a /p grabber and will upload some
images to
http://www.iup.uni-heidelberg.de/schaefer_vlf/DK7FC_LF_Grabber4.html
Maybe it will be possible to make a sked, if someone is interested. I
will stay there until saturday 13 UTC.
