It seems to me there are more learners on 500 Khz than
experienced operators, whereas 160 metres has Experts galore.
No one knows who tuned up and tested earlier today or
admits it, of course they might have been zapped by lightening and
expired
In a rain forest with storms and lightening who would do
that !! instead head for the beach.

I just happened to be in the shack at the time when the
stn tuned up and suddenly went QRT.
