What a lot of rot I am reading on this site about Microsoft!
Such as "threat that Microsoft are attempting
 in their quest for dominance"
We should be grateful to Microsoft for the superb position we are in today with computing, not only in progress terms, but what do you think the situation would now be if instead numerous smaller companies were all trying to push their own, all different, systems on an equal basis??
Consider what it would be like if different towns had a different system for traffic lights....
