The schematics for The flex 3k Are not Public, as far as i can see in The site.
Anyway, i can tell you that The audio stages Are not being fed by the dc from The firewire cable.
This is done because The power coming from The pc is not suitable for Feeding The audio amp, is too dirty.

Reference recent message about flex 3000 radio. I am
surprised how little is known about this radio and how it works. The manual only
describes the appliance operator approach and virtually no technical
information.
