May be not known to  all  on the  reflector , but  Mike was  very involved  in the  GB4FPR  special  event  station  and  many would  of  been in CW  QSO  with  him on 500 Over the previous years IMD event?s, Ill health prevented him from taking part this year.

 

Notably, Mike  was  operating at the  time  of the  first 500  CW contact with  Joe VO1NA on 500  and the second  time  two  years ago and is  featured on the  commemorative  QSL card.
