Well Alaska MF and LF is pretty dead given recent Solar events, even VLF was taking a 10dB hit on some paths but now recovering - HF is awful at this time, but not unexpected.
 
One notable visual manifestation was we had a low stratus layer and light snow on my drive North from Anchorage - but it was just like we were is a diffuse colored disco from the light of the Auroras above - amazing and physacdellic man...
