Hello Steinar,
Mainly, the structure is the same but the version 8 is more sensitive. So
the transmitted S/N scale is now -37 to 12 dB instead of -35 to 14 dB (I
checked that at -36 dB there are still decodings but not at -37 dB which is
the limit).
