Yes, I believe you are correct there. Probably due to the late-night
nature of such operation. Also, most of the available U.S. "ears" are at
lower latitudes than the various EU ops, and have higher summertime
noise levels.
With Stephan's signal and willingness to operate into the late hours,
this should be fairly easy.
