Dear Gary, Andy, LF Group, Isn't -41dB about right for OP32? 8.192 seconds per symbol, = 0.122Hz, = 43dB down on 2500Hz. It would also be consistent with the reports showing Op4 decoding consistently at -32dB SNR or a few dB less. Going to Op32 should reduce the bandwidth by a factor of 8, so 9dB below the level of Op4 should be OK. Cheers, Jim Moritz73 de M0BMU |
