The Northampton - Bath testing team can report the expected difference
in signal levels only.
Last night I assumed that G0KTN was running WSPR and OPERA Software on
the same Computer, one RX, one Antenna. The actual set up uses, split
Antenna, 2 RX's with aprox a 3dB difference in S/N levels reported we
have proven today.
Testing is continuing.
BTW there is a daily phenomena I can't explain. Between 14.00 and 15.00
there is a local false / premature decode which takes place during my
transmission. I don't think I heard DN1HZM today at 14.55 anyway.
Other than this daily presentation the lack of false de-codes is
impressive.
