Hello Albert,
before I will start tests on other bands myself It would be interesting what's
the problem in your opinion.
I do not see a problem - but possibly i am wrong.
Because of the german allocation for DI / experimentaö beacons I just can transmit
outside the "OPERA frequencies" even on 500 khz.

All,

I am not amused by the internet Opera reports named 500(kHz) or 136(kHz)
and generated on a different frequency band eg 10 MHz.

Hello Horst,

I know of your problem in Germany with the frequency allocation. My comment was not directly meant for your beacon. But at the moment we are in the Beta testing fase of Opera and we need and as much listeners as possible to see where the system goes wrong. (multi tx users at the same time and fals decodes) My real problem is, that the system was set up for 500 and 136 kHz and now they start using it on 160 m, 30 m etc if this spreads out than the right hand screen will be full of reports every few minutes from all over world and you never will find back any 500 or 136 report. A solution could be an RX screen for each separate band. But at the moment there is only one. I have tried to decode your beacon with no luck DI2AM 500.180 is probably too strong here up in the north.
