I often hear a variety of carriers going on es off on the 500 Khz band but I do not investigate them. I expect they are Beacons of a sort and seldom send any CW ID.
I am active most days on 500 in CW qso mode only. QRS3 might be useful at times for long haul DX contacts but I can hear the USA and Canadian stations when active on normal CW.
