Good day all:
Persistence is starting to have its payday... I received a portion of 3 consecutive transmissions from Stefan on
Fri. night... That was also during an unexpected time period ... For the most part; I usually don't start to see his
signal until around midnight here ( pre-sunrise in Heidelberg )... The 8 to 10 pm reception was very good ...
All the callsign characters are in the reception, but not in sequence ( the QSB - don't like me < G > ) That's
what I'm hoping to get soon is " all in sequence " ... A short time back; the thought of TA - DX on 2200 meters
would not have even crossed my mind ... Recent changes to the antenna for LF reception purposes, have
really went well beyond ANY expectations I could have had ...Stefans email requesting me to look for his
signal this season was a bit of a surprise; first in getting the request, then in receiving the signal !!
Just when I think nothing else can amaze me : Decoding DCF-77, AND getting a QSL card was amazing...
Now receiving a true " Ham " signal from Germany on 136 KHz is " shocking " ....
I'm going to enjoy this moment, and my third cup of coffee !!
73 all; and have a great weekend:
