Yes. Here, these days the noise has its maximum just before 0 UTC so it may become even better here!

Laurence/KL7UK and Bill/VE2IQ are running their grabbers too. They use GPS locking (with SpecLab, which seems to work well) and loop antennas.

That looks quite clear. I still can't belive it completely. Does all that mean we have done the first transatlantic detection of a non-commercial generated signal on VLF? If so, please write a good explaning webpage as you did 2010 (it was very nice to read, especially the conclusions ;-) ), so that i can post the link on the LF group!


After first hour on new frequency, the peak on Marlton's
spectrum has moved from 8970.0 to 8970.005.   Will send
phase data in later email.
Which would confirm what is actually done and so it rises the proof that this is my signal! Wow!


Will you change frequency again at say 02:00 in order to
complete a 'K' ?
No, i will now stay on 8970.005 until at least 9 UTC which should allow some further integration times to get a better detection. Maybe some signals will come up in Alaska too. Laurence often reported that DHO38 is strongest just before my local sunrise and has a sudden drop then.
This is my first over-night transmission so i am optimistic to get some more interesting results and propagation phenomena can be observed. BTW, there is room for another 3...6 dB ERP here...
