Hello Rik
I will be on about 502.2 kHz Sunday morning 0915-1000
hrs UTC ( not much use to you then) but also later from 1930-2015. I
will swing my RX loop towards you during that period, in case you would
like to try calling.

Hello Dennis,
I am running up to 250W RF power into a 11m high and
25m long "lazy L" antenna.
Estimated ERP is between 50mW (20W RF power / summer)
and 2W ERP (250W / winter).

Hello Ric
Thank you for your email. Sorry I did not
hear you when you called. Yes, QRM is a problem
as I live within 100 metres of a busy railway line with 25kV overhead lines. I tend to use a Wellbrook
Loop, normally looking
North - South, and you are nearly due West of
me. I also have a mini-whip, but this has been extended
for
VLF purposes. I have been thinking of
removing the extension so that QRM on 600m wont be so
bad. I wonder what power and aerial you use? Meanwhile
conditions are improving and maybe we will have a QSO soon.
I am based at Biggleswade locator IO92UC, not far from
Chris G3XIZ.

Hello Dennis,
I have also heard you several times in the past and called you, without
success.
Probably due to your local QRM situation.

Hi Lubos
Many thanks for your report RST 559, I can hardly
believe it. The good times are coming at last.
I heard your signal but local QRM made it difficult to
read, so only 129 from me, still better luck next time.
The rig is home brew GM3EUP design running at 25 watts
into a 'T' aerial 8m high, estimated erp = 250mW.
